What 2.5 does that 2.0 and 2.0 Fast do not
Seedance 2.0 and 2.0 Fast stop at 5 or 10 seconds and accept a prompt or a single start image. Seedance 2.5 adds three things. Length: any whole number of seconds from 4 to 30, so a hook, a demo and a closing frame can share one camera move and one light setup instead of being stitched from three clips. Reference mode: up to 40 reference files combined into one scene. And speech: a line written in quotation marks is spoken with lip movement, which our tested UGC prompts relied on.
If your ad is one five-second move on a packshot, none of that matters and 2.0 Fast is the better buy. If it needs a person to say something, or a single take longer than ten seconds, 2.5 is the only Seedance version that can do it.
