eBay photo requirements

eBay’s picture policy is short and strict about what you add on top of a photo. Here is what it says, linked to eBay Help.

What is the minimum photo size on eBay?

eBay’s picture policy requires at least 500 px on the longest side.

Can I put a watermark on eBay photos?

No. The policy bans watermarks of any type, including ownership attributions.

Can I use stock photos on eBay?

Not for used, damaged or defective items. eBay also does not allow placeholder images.

Does eBay require a white background?

eBay’s picture policy does not set a background colour. It bans added borders, text, artwork and watermarks.
